Privacy Policy

Bassh collects only the information necessary to run the app. Specifically:

- Location (approximate and precise), to show you nearby clubs, bars, and events.

- Phone number, used for OTP-based login only.

- Name, collected at signup.

- Usage data: screens visited, venues viewed, and events tapped.

- Device data: device model, OS version, and device identifiers, used for diagnostics and performance.

- Push notification token, used to send event alerts and venue offers.

- Search queries: what you search inside the app.

Bassh does not collect:

- Email addresses.

- Photos or camera access.

- Contacts.

We use the information we collect to:

- Show you nearby clubs, bars, and events.

- Authenticate you via OTP-based login.

- Send push notifications about events and venue offers.

- Improve app performance and fix crashes.

- Personalise venue recommendations based on your activity.

Bassh shares limited data with the following providers:

- Amazon Web Services (AWS), for backend hosting and data storage. Privacy policy: https://aws.amazon.com/privacy

Bassh does not track you across third-party apps or websites. We use no advertising SDKs and no cross-app tracking of any kind.

- Account data (name, phone, usage history): retained until you delete your account.

- Location data: not stored persistently. It is used in real time only.

- Analytics and usage data: retained until you delete your account.

You can:

- Delete your account and all associated data from within the app.

- Opt out of push notifications via your iOS settings.

Bassh is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The revised version will be posted with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of Bassh after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
