Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use Bassh. By using our platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

If you are accessing Bassh on behalf of a business or venue, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

When you create a Bassh account, you agree to:

- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration

- Maintain and promptly update your account information as needed

- Keep your login credentials secure and confidential

- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or remain inactive for an extended period.

You agree not to use Bassh to:

- Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights

- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information

- Harass, abuse, or threaten other users, venue staff, or Bassh personnel

- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts

- Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access or collect data from the platform

- Distribute spam, malware, or other harmful content

- Resell or commercially exploit guest list spots, bookings, or other services obtained through Bassh without authorisation

- Interfere with the proper functioning of the platform

Bassh provides information about nightlife venues, events, and experiences. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that all venue details (hours, pricing, availability, descriptions) are complete or up to date.

Venues are responsible for the accuracy of their own listings. Bassh acts as a platform connecting users with venues and is not liable for discrepancies between listed information and actual venue offerings.

User-generated content (reviews, photos, ratings) reflects the views of individual users and does not represent the opinions of Bassh.

When you make a booking or join a guest list through Bassh:

- You agree to honour your reservation and comply with the venue's policies

- Payment is processed securely through our third-party payment providers

- Prices displayed are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated

- Cancellation and refund policies vary by venue and are displayed at the time of booking

- Bassh may charge a service fee for certain bookings, which will be clearly disclosed before payment

Bassh is not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of experiences provided by venues. Any disputes regarding venue services should first be directed to the venue, with Bassh available to assist in mediation where possible.

All content, features, and functionality of the Bassh platform -- including but not limited to the logo, design, text, graphics, software, and trademarks -- are owned by Velvet Hub Private Limited or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our platform or its content without prior written consent from Bassh.

By submitting content to Bassh (such as reviews or photos), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with our services.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

- Bassh is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied

- We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure access to the platform

- Bassh shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform

- Our total liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Bassh in the 12 months preceding the claim

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Velvet Hub Private Limited, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting our support team.

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if we believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or posed a risk to other users or the platform.

Upon termination, your right to access and use Bassh will cease immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will remain in effect.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

Your continued use of Bassh after the updated Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree with the revised Terms, you should discontinue use of the platform.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Bassh shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bangalore, India.

Before initiating formal proceedings, you agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us at legal@bassh.in.
